Salt Meats Cheese
Colours and themes were introduced from the cronulla beach bringing a sense of the local vibrancy and beach culture into the venue. Being a heritage space, challenges revolved around preservation of heritage fabric balanced with operational and BCA/AS/DDA requirements for compliance.
Throughout the project, attention to fixing details and junctions to heritage fabric has been crucial not only for approvals but also for ensuring the integrity of the existing space. Exposed brick, large mirrored back bar archways, feature lighting and a terracotta clad bar front give the venue a decidedly Mediterranean feel which speaks to the relaxed seaside atmosphere of the area.
